OH HOW I'D LOVE TO LOOK LIKE HELEN AT HER AGE...

Dame Helen Mirren is 64-years-of-age and yet she still looks fabulous!

So many women her age have now given into the pressures of society to look young and have resorted to cosmetic surgery, however, Helen has so far resisted, and looks all the more better for it!

She says she thinks people relate to her because she looks more 'real' than other Hollywood stars, and she's exactly right!

The women that resort to plastic surgery all just turn out the same. The all get carried away getting masses of work done and all end up looking like the same warped creature, instead of growing old gracefully.

Dame Helen says she 'understands' why people have surgery, and so do I. Their is huge pressure in today's society to stay young and beautiful- especially in showbiz. However, they don't just have 'a little' nip and tuck- they get totally addicted and get carried away.

It doesn't hurt to have a few wrinkles you know, it gives us character!

Helen puts her youthful looks down to 'vitamins, water and sleep.'

Well, I'm going to be getting my fill of all three in the future. Because I'd rather look like Helen than a plastic dummy anyday!

Who would believe that Jennifer Lopez is forty?!

She looked AMAZING last night at the launch of a book by her make-up artist Scott Barnes at the Provocateur club in The Hotel Gansevoort in New York.

I could only dreaaaaam of looking as good as La Lopez when I reach the big 4-0!

SHERRIE GETS HER GONGS OUT AT THE NTA'S

It was a chilly night at the O2 Arena for the National Television Awards last night, however that didn't stop Sherrie Hewson getting her lady-charms out!

Yes, the 59-year-old graced the red carpet in a see-through top...

One question- WHY?

I wouldnt even wear a see-through top and I'm nineteen!

Sherrie is usually a picture of class, however she let herself down with this monstrosity!

Her fellow 'Loose Woman' Carol McGiffin also didn't wear much either- showing up in a black mini dress that covered hardly any of the 49-year-old's legs!

Fair enough, they want to look good and follow trends, but the way to look good is to dress for your age and what suits you... not for what's in all the magazines that are aimed at 20-year-olds!

However, they did have a chance to celebrate last night with 'Loose Women' winning their first NTA for Best Factual Programme (factual... really?)

Someone who DID win in the fashion stakes however was Mylene Klass. She stole the fashion limelight in a gorgeous pink dress with cute accessories.

Other fashion winners were Tess Daly who shone in white, Davina McCall who wore a floor-length blue gown (not black?!) and Amanda Holden who looked radiant in a Ralph & Russo gown.

Yes the oh-so-hunky 'P.S. I Love You' star has decided to get back with blonde stunner Jen after they presented an award together at the Golden Globes Ceremony.

Apparently, Mr Butler checked Jen's own 'golden globes' after the show!

Let's hope it was just a one-night stand and that he's back on the market soon!

A 'HAIRY' SITUATION

Precious star Mo'Nique may have won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress this week, but she certainly wins no awards for her grooming skills!

Yes, the 42-year-old actress stepped out on the red carpet this week ith legs so hairy, you could probably plait it!

The funny thing is, is that the American actress was groomed in every other area- nice hair, fancy dress, newly-painted nails... but then she has to go and ruin it all with that mop on her legs!

During a 2006 appearance on U.S. talk show The View, she told host Barbara Walters:

'I must show America what a real leg looks like … because it's too much in the morning, every morning, to shave, to cut, you got Band-aids baby.'

Has she never heard of shaving foam?

Anyway, even if she didn't do it EVERY morning, she could of done it on the morning of a massive worldwide event!

The only reason I can think for leaving it is becuase she wanted publicity... well I can tell her she's certainly achieved that... but for all the wrong reasons!

I mean, yeh they say any press is good press, but would you like to be knwon as a hairy beast?

No, me neither.

It really annoyes me when women say, 'oh but it hurts' and 'it's sore'... If other women can go through the pains of labour... you can shave your legs love.

I certainly don't envy that guy that's touching her legs, he must have a right handful...

SLIM PICKINGS...

There's a massive debate going on about whether stylist Rachel Zoe is too thin or not. Well I have the answer... YES!

Of course she is! You only have to take one look at her to know that she's not eating enough. Even though she has the AUDACITY to claim that she isn't, she knows she is. Otherwise she wouldn't cover hersef up with that scarf.

But at the end of the day, I don't want to have a go at the woman as she is clearly very sick and it's not her fault that she's obsessed with her weight.

I just hope she starts admitting her problem and gets the help that she clearly needs.

ONE SNIP TOO FAR FOR HEIDI?

Regular viewers of MTV hit show, 'The Hills' will know that Heidi Montag has had some 'work done' on her body as we have seen her looks transform dramatically through each series.

However, she has now claimed that she is addicted to it, in America's 'People' Magazine- saying that she even had ten procedures done in one day!

Ten? That must have been sore in the morning!

If this is all true, then I think Heidi should try talking to her doctor, rather than a major magazine about her condition.

If she carries on much more, she's just gonna turn into a mess! She already looks completely different to how we first saw her as a pretty teen and is starting to look just strange to be honest.

I mean, I all for confident boosts, but this is just too far.

I used to have such a crush on Matt le Blanc as the lovable Joey in Friends, but look at him now!

I hardly recognise him with his grey mob, large beer belly and them AWFUL trainers.

It's so heart-breaking!
